TED RUSSELL KAMP - BAND

On the Ted Russell Kamp EU-tour with a band he plays as a 5 piece band along with 4 of the most deeply respected musiciansfrom the Finnish roots music music scene. Tommi Viksten on lead guitar is a famous member of the Finnish roots music community with dozens of performance and production credits including playing with Kauko Röyhkä & Narttu, The Munsons and Tuomari Nurmio. Tokela, on acoustic and electric guitar, is known as the “Brian Setzer of Finland” having led his hit making rockabilly and roots rock band Melrose for decades as well as working with Tommi Viksten in the Munsons. Janne Haavisto is a drummer and producer known for his famous surf band Laika and the Cosmonauts as well as playing with the Shubie Brothers, J. Karjalainen, Ali & Rosvot and Eero Raittinen. Tuomas Metsberg, also on electric guitar is known for his recording and touring with Luxury Liner, Jussi & the Boys.


Together, Ted, Tommi, Tokela, Janne and Tuomas can bring a true eclectic rock and roll show covering the Ted’s singer/songwriter style as well his love for Texas boogie, California country and Blue Eyed Memphis inspired Soul.
